Friday evening we met with the CMO for a one-hour bargaining session. During that session, our bargaining team presented an updated comprehensive contract proposal.
The HTH Board rescheduled their September meeting for during the school day, making it difficult for staff and families to attend &/or speak. This is an example of the lack of transparency we are pushing against. The board makes decisions that impact our schools, and it is so important that those decisions are accessible and transparent to our community. The board meeting is Monday, Sept 12, at 12 noon. We need everyone to join this meeting, even if just from their phones. Show HTH that we are still paying attention, even if they move meetings to a time when most are not available - and that we are are ready to stand up for FAIRNESS, TRANSPARENCY, and ACCOUNTABILITY! We'll be holding regular community info meetings for families and community members who have questions. Our next is scheduled for Monday, October 17, at 5:30pm via Zoom. (You might have seen this originally scheduled for a later time that evening, but we had to adjust due to another meeting.)
